T-HANGARS

**Many of the airplanes at the Altoona Blair County Airport are small private planes that rest in T-Hangars. Below is a picture similar to the way our T-Hangars are designed. We are in the process of building new hangars.

At the Altoona Blair County Airport, the T-Hangars rest near the parking lot and contain small, "4-seater" planes. The tail of the plane rests in section B and Section A allows room for the wing span. The doors to a T-Hangar are usually opened horizontally, as the graphic below shows:
